Quechee Balloon Festival
The Annual Quechee Balloon Festival & Craft Fair
All balloon flights are subject to weather conditions. The first flight is scheduled for Friday at 6:00PM, followed by an after-dusk Balloon Glow flight, and there are additional flights on Saturday and Sunday at 6:00AM and 6:00PM. Balloon rides may be reserved by calling the Quechee Chamber of Commerce at (800) 295-5451. Sorry, pets are not permitted on the festival or fairgrounds.
Where: The Quechee Village Green is located in the center of the Village just off Main Street. in Quechee
When: June 15 - 17, 2007. Gates are open on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00PM, Saturday from 5:30AM to 9:00PM, and Sunday from 5:30AM to 7:00PM.

Lake Champlain "Little Anglers" Derby
The Lake Champlain "Little Anglers" Derby is open to kids 14 and under accompanied by an adult. Registration is from 10 AM to noon. Kids fish from noon to 2 PM, and awards are given at 2:15 PM. There will be free ice cream courtesy of Friendly's Restaurants!

Stowe Garden Festival
This spectacular three-day garden festival is sponsored by the Trapp Family Lodge. Stowe Balloon Festival
For 20 years Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa in Stowe, VT, has hosted this popular celebration, which has evolved into one of New England’s premier summer events. Attracting as many as 10,000 tourists and Vermonter residents each year, the festival is also a recipient of the AH&LA/Diners Club Stars of the Industry Award. Tunbridge World's Fair
The World’s Fair on Rte 110 in Tunbridge, Vermont, runs from September 14th through the 17th, 2006. This 135th year honors Antique Hill, a unique collection of agricultural antiques, and the grand opening of its new museum, featuring horse-drawn field equipment, carriages, wagons, sleighs, hearses and also, old tractors. Shows also feature the most beautiful farm animals from cattle and horses to sheep and poultry, pulling events with pony. Horse and oxen; harness racing; plus garden and harvest competitions.

Civil War Expo, hosted by the Eighteenth Vermont Regiment, Inc.
The 10th annual Civil War Expo will be held at the historic Tunbridge Fairgrounds on Route 110, Tunbridge, VT on Saturday, September 30th from 10am to dusk. Civil War re-enactor camp life, artillery, cavalry and infantry drills, speakers, historical displays, battle scenario, live period music, educational activities for children and adults, torchlight parade and more. Downtown Rutland's Chili Challenge
We make it hot, hot, hot in Downtown Rutland. In 2004, people enjoyed a fall afternoon in Center Street Alley tasting chili prepared by groups, individuals, and restaurant professionals, and voted for their favorite. Tourists and locals alike can enjoy an afternoon of chili tasting, live entertainment, the farmer’s market and endless fun. Shoppers can enjoy bargains by participating retailers and tour downtown’s window displays and cast votes in the Halloween Window Decorating Contest.

A Family Halloween at Billings Farm & Museum
A Farmily Halloween - A safe and wholesome celebration designed especially for young children. Doughnuts on a string, pumpkin carving for families, historic games, Halloween tales, plus horse-drawn wagon rides. Costume parades around the farm led by a Southdown ewe at 12:00 and 2:00 pm. Children in costume accompanied by an adult admitted FREE!
